TELUS Health's cyber assurance team on building a program with HelmGuard, in their own words.

Introduction

At TELUS Health, we were looking for a solution that would manage a complex hierarchy of entities and requirements. We process sensitive healthcare data across many services, products, and jurisdictions. An AI-native GRC platform seemed the obvious choice and HelmGuard’s solution demonstrated it could support our complexity, and build out unified capability to manage our process pipelines.

Background

During the partnership, the team has proven highly responsive to our needs: within the boundaries of unified code, they have leveraged the toolsets within the platform to meet our varied business process expectations; simplifying business user and process integration, whilst always enabling us to understand the guard rails within which we operate, and effectively using the human-in-the-loop capability.

Achievement

The platform is proving a solid and agile foundation upon which we’re building our GRC needs in partnership with HelmGuard. It enables end-to-end solutioning and life cycle management capability in a multi-disciplined environment; ensuring that our investment in the platform and knowledge stored within the system is maximised and effectively curated. With the API integrations that are coming online, we will also be able to correlate compliance metrics from our systems to substantiate our compliance, whilst optimising the value add in our teams.
